What does SIS mean to you personally?

SIS means love both for myself and for other female athletes with disabilities. I think we assume we can only find that with our families, but being a part of a group of women from all walks of life with every kind of disability has created a space where there is no jealousy, no pettiness, no expectations on how we should look or show up other than being our selves. I know that even at my worst, in my darkest moments, my sisters will be there, and that’s a rare thing.
