Elayna Alexandra
Pseudoarthrois, hEDS, Amputee
I’m Elayna Alexandra — ontological coach, strategist, speaker, and someone who knows what it feels like to lose the thread of your own story and fight to get it back. I was born with Congenital Pseudoarthrosis, a rare bone disease, and after 22 surgeries I chose amputation in 2021 — a decision rooted in both pain and hope. What I didn’t expect was that losing my leg would open the door to something I’d never had access to before: sport. I found adaptive soccer, made it to the first ever US Women’s Amputee Soccer World Cup, and discovered that athlete was a word that had always belonged to me. SIS found me on that high — and stayed when things got hard. I’m still becoming. And I’m just getting started.
